Reunion Tour - 14

After breakfast left Yellowston Lake area and headed for Old Faithful. Saw a bunch of guysers along the lake then ran into the crowds at Old Faithful. As we approached it, many were running toward Old Faithful. We had arrived just in time for an eruption. These eruptions are not as predictable as I thought - might range from 55 minutes to 150. So we were lucky to hit it right. Then walked around the geyser field around Old Faithful - walked on boardwalks and saw spitters, spewers, drippers, etc. Finished the walk in about an hour and then had to wait only about 20 minutes till the next eruption of Old Faithful. Then headed for the Grand Tetons National Park, started first at Colter Bay at the lodging office. Were fortunate to find a slot in a group cabin, which means that four individual rooms share two bathrooms. Wasn't a bad arrangement especially because it saved us quite a lot of driving. While the walls looked like logs, we could hear much of what was going on in the next room, like it or not. There was some very suspicious goings-on next door late at night. Before all that excitement we went for a walk on the lake and took some sunset pictures.
