Day 24 - Phoenix AZ

Another hearty breakfast to prepare us for the full day ahead. Most of the day was involved in critiquing the photos that we did yesterday. The professional photographers took the three photos from each person and evaluated, commented on and made on-screen crops and adjustments. Everyone is on a different level and it was helpful to see and hear the comments on others' photos. I don't think anyone was embarassed but we all had some fun with it. At 4:00 we left on the bus to go to Superstition Mountain, another local landmark. We all wandered around the area at the base of the mountain, each trying to develop a photographic eye to come up with something for tomorrow's critiquing session. After the sun set and we lost our colors, we headed for a late evening meal, this time at Sweet Tomatoes. Back to the hotel at 9:30. GHOST here to say that when we arrived at our shoot place....the people said there are more cactus here. Is this all they have? And more mountains? The guide with us who was a new person just said ..SHEW.Get out there and find a spot that you would like to shoot your sunset picture. Some of the enthusiasm of the first day was gone on our part. And guess what??we go to the botanical gardens to see more cactus in the morning. I sure hope they are blooming better than in the real desert. The heat is hard on some of these people..
