Day 22 - Phoenix AZ

First full day of the Elderhostel session. After a robust breakfast, we had a get-to-know-each-other session with our program coordinator. After that the program was led by an outstanding photographer from Arizona Highways magazine. It was an excellent program on digital photography and was especially helpful to me in learning about how to use my new camera. I'm not there yet but this helped establish some of the fundamentals. After another after-lunch session, we boarded the bus for a ride to MacDonald's Ranch in the desert for a photo shoot and cookout. While dining, we were serenaded with cowboy songs. Then we had another photo shoot with the softer light of sundown. Today's photo's are being brought to you by GHOST. She has never really used a camera very much, so we wanted to show off what she did. You be the judge.
